ARBI is a Community Based Non- Government Organization shaped by people motivated and passionate for healing, peace building and development for affected communities in Northern Kivu province of DRC and the Regions of Africa. The organization was founded in 2011 in response to the successive violent wars ethnic-based related in Eastern part of the DRC. Our engagement is to empower people’ capacity to responsively respond to the Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo and Kivu’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of defining and designing their wished destiny favoring a Holistic Community Living Peace  approach through Healing the Wounds of Ethnic (Identity) conflicts workshops (HWEC)-Community Based Sociotherapy (CBS)-Community Development (CD)-Environment prevention, promotion and protection – Active Bystandership(servant leadership) Education.

In all undertaken initiatives, women remain “corner stones” in the process of rebuilding social bridges that facilitate people to reach ARBI’s integral mission of Impacting Hearts, Head and Hands within and between affected communities through community based approaches fostering inclusive cooperation, capacity building for the participants to sustainable conflict transformation, socio-economic development and responsive servant leadership.
